Although we pretend we’re empiricists — our views dictated by nothing but the facts — we’re actually blinkered, especially when it comes to information that contradicts our theories. The problem with science, then, isn’t that most experiments fail — it’s that <em>most failures are ignored</em>.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;<em>This is why other people are so helpful: They shock us out of our cognitive box.</em> “I saw this happen all the time,” Dunbar says. “A scientist would be trying to describe their approach, and they’d be getting a little defensive, and then they’d get this quizzical look on their face. <p>Dukket opp et kjent selskap på <a href="http://news.cnet.com/greentech">GreenTech</a> for litt siden. <a href="http://www.revolttechnology.com">ReVolt</a> er en kjempespennende startup med utspring fra <a href="http://www.sintef.no/">SINTEF</a>/<a href="http://www.ntnu.no/">NTNU</a> som bruker en <a href="http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sink">sink</a>-luft teknologi for å lage fremtidens batterier:</p>
<p>1) Teoretisk kapasitet på opptil fire ganger dagens Lithium-Ion batterier<br />
2) Sink er en lett tilgjengelig og trygg råvare<br />
3) Forbedret levetid</p>
<p>ReVolt flyttet hovedkvarteret og FoU til Sveits for noen år siden, og har hentet inn over 24 millioner Euro så langt (med blant andre Trondheimsbaserte <a href="http://www.sintef.no/Kommersialisering/Sinvent-AS/">Sinvent</a> og <a href="http://www.vikingventure.no/">Viking Venture</a> på laget). Litt fascinerende å tenke tilbake på da de hadde kontor på andre siden av gangen i <a href="http://www.ig.ntnu.no/">Innovasjonssenter Gløshaugen</a>, og kun besto av en person; gründer og idéhaver Dr. Trygve Burchardt.</p>

<p>Hvilken fortjeneste har man per solgte produkt/kunde som man teoretisk kunne brukt på å skaffe kunden? Kundeperspektiv først som sist. I de aller fleste tilfellene må man regne med å betale for å få inn kundene.</p>

<p>Snakk med familie, venner, tilfeldige mennesker og ikke minst potensielle kunder om forretningsideen. Jeg har et inntrykk at vi er spesielt dårlige på dette i Norge. En kombinasjon av janteloven og at man er redd for at noen skal rappe ideen fører til at man holder den for seg selv. Kanskje ender man opp med å aldri gjøre noe med den.
